Hi You could also try your local chamber of commerce they have training events and networking with local businesses.0

Thanks pinetree, have emailed chamber of commerce. They never returned my email, the rats!£2 coin savings = zero (I never get any £2 coins 'cos the rest of you are hogging them in your piggy banks!) :rotfl:0

The BL used to do some podcasts too which I used to download. Natwest have a thing called Smarta which was fab for my bus plan, it absolutely walked me through every little step. I think it was free for a month and easily cancellable. Again other banks maybe do the same.
I also went to a couple of the HMRC workshops which dealt with various aspects of tax, there are several depending on your need, and the trainer was really knowledgeable about lots of other aspects - helpful as well as being able to network with other people who were just starting out.
A warning though, my accountant wasn't at all impressed with my attending these workshops, he seemed to think I should go to him as the fount of all knowledge, whereas I wanted to find out for myself. Again, maybe just my accountant!!0 -
