CITI Cards/Associates: I have half the statements...?

Hi,
Here's a dilemma i have- I have some credit card statements from CITI cards (used to be Associates) from the year 2000-2002 showing that i had 'cardholder protection payment's on there which i did not agree to.
I have sent them an SAR letter with £10 cheque but i assume that they will use the 6 year rule to say that they do not hold any info for me from before 6 years ago.

However, i have found an old Experian credit file from 8 years ago that shows that my credit card with CITI started in 1998.

If/when i make a claim for mis-sold PPI/Cardholder protection payments, will i be able to claim that the cardholder protection payments started in 1998 or will it be just from 2000?
Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!

    Hi there

Wishing you luck on your reclaiming.
If they're unable to provide you with any data from your SAR request, they must let you know in writing and return your payment.

Give it a go with your reasons on the reclaiming by completing the questionnaire, if they do happen to still hold details from the start they may refund you all the way, fingers crossed.
