On a family car, adding my gf who only has a provisional licence drops the price £50-100.On a more sporty car it usually adds about the same.
I have never had a claim and a clean licence.0 -

If your going to struggle with £1500 insurance how will you cope with £2000+ a year car finance?
Most free insurance policies may require a large deposit and several years no claims bonus.
You will also be limited on what car you can get. Possibly models that dont sell very well, Larger petrol engined models etc.
