Hope someone can help, have a new hp netbook and everything is working ok, but cant see where I can switch on the webcam, have looked in my control panel, but cant find anything, can anyone help?

Type webcam under Start and it should pull up 'Devices' and you should be able to access from that

Any software that uses the webcam should be able to turn it on and off.

Thankyou both, but still no good, did what you said m5rrc, typed in webcam, its definately not in devices, but for some reason found it in my documents, so clicked on it and a window appears saying. <<<<<< Cyberlink youcam webcam does not support a screen resolution smaller than 1024 x 60 with 120dpi>>>>

So whats going on, dont understand it, just got this on Monday, and now cant access the webcam

That means that your screen resolution is too low. Right click on desktop and set it to that stated resolution or higher then retry.

Thats weird as its already on that resolution, cant even email HP as cant see any email contact addy to ask them.

Which Netbook model you have please?

its a HP mini 110 netbook, thing is when I bought it, it had no information with it except a big sheet of instructions on how to plug it in, set up wireless etc, but nothing else.

Thankyou m5rcc for your patience, but I have the wecam thingy as found it in my documents for some reason, the problem is I cant activate it as it says I need 1024 x 60 res, which its already on, but it still not letting me activate it.
I cant find anything on their website about it, and cant find anywhere to send an email either asking them what the problem is.
