Hi all, I'm a lurker on this site but have never posted
I am trying to reclaim the ppi from my oh's 2 loans, they were both from lloyds tsb, but he no longer has the paperwork.
On 2 occasions I have sent the template letter to lloyds to try and get the paperwork back but I haven't heard anything!!
What can I do now, I'm sorry this all may sound a little stupid xx

What were the dates on the loans. If they were paid up before the end of 2001 they may not have any records of the loan

Did you send a SAR letter and the £10 fee. They have 40 days to reply so check your diary. If you did not send a SAR send them one.You can find a template on this site.

You have to keep at them. You've probably done all this but just in case...........
If you're sending the SAR letter (there's a template on here somewhere) send it to the DSAR Unit, Lloyds TSB, Customer Service Recovery, Charlton Place, C57, Andover, SP10 1RE., include any account numbers if you have them, previous addresses if relevant etc, make sure you've included the £10 and send it recorded. They have 40 days to respond in full. If you don't hear back you send another letter saying you're giving them 7 days to respond in full or you will be reporting them to the ICO. And do report them if they don't respond. Even if the loans were really old and Lloyds have no records of them anymore they should still have responded and told you this within 40 days.
And in the meantime remember it's not the fact that your OH had PPI that is the issue, it's whether and how it was mis-sold that matters.0
