Can anyone please? I have word 2007 and when I try to send a document, the whole programe crashes. Their diagnostics thingy couldn't find a problem. When I click "send to", fill in the recipients name and click send, it crashes and closes down. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I knew I wouldn't explain it properly.:o
When in word, i want to send a prepared document to my mum but everytime I do this it crashes. If I send it as an attachment from outlook, it works fine. Just wondered if anyone had any idea why it crashes in word. ThanksLife is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what yer gonna get

I wouldn’t think there is any way you can send a MS Word document directly as an email, only as an attachment to an email.
Why don't you want to send it as an attachment?I love my spell checker, it stops me making all sorts of stupid smelling mistakes. :doh:0 -
In word 2003 you can click file, send to and send it from there. I was trying to do that in 2007, as it does give you the options, but it crashes every time.Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what yer gonna get

Are you using Outlook 2007 as well?? Has you Outlook email been set up??
I have just tried sending a word 2007 file and it was fine.
there may be an issue if you are using word 2007 but oulook 2003, worth looking at.
Failing that, I would also try reinstalling Office.0 -

I wouldn't condem it straight away, hopefully someone with a similar configuration can have a go.
It may just need a slight tweak somewhere.0 -
