We borrowed 20k from Swift and settled early. We paid them back 23k to give us this privilage.
Does this figure sound right???

No I did not have PP1
Had the loan out only for 1 year and paid them £3081.60 during that year
plus £23065.94. In total £26147.54
We borrowed £20.000.

Are you then asking us if we think the amount of interest you paid is correct?
It's impossible to say unless you know what interest rate you had on the loan.

I cannot remember to be honest what the interest rate was then. Do you think I should contact Swift to ask what the interest rate was then??

Yes contact them, they sold awful loans with awful rates. If you paid it off in the first 1-3 years then you could have paid a redemption charge.
