first & final iva and reclaim ppi
I had a first and final iva last year which is where the companys agree to a one off lump sum to clear my debts so was only in an iva for 1 month. Equity from my home etc didnt come into the agreement and my final proposal includes that they will not persue anything more from me and it is in final settlement. My question therefore is if I try and reclaim ppi as we had them over many years our credit cards that is and we are successful can the companys take any of the money back from me as they accepted smaller amount to settle the debt. Many thanks sarah

You can attempt to reclaim your PPI after an IVA, i have heard of cases where this has been successful post IVA and also cases where the creditor has kept a % of the PPI.
I guess you have nothing to lose by trying0 -
Many thanks after much research I have discovered that because my iva is complete and have my certificate of completion anything I win back will be ours although im sure they arent going to want to pay me anything its worth a try.0
