Yes I'm real.
As real as the optimism displayed by the 2000 firms polled by Manpower.
You are nuts. Or a multi user name troll I'm not sure which.0 -
You are very young and naive - do you really think that a survey can swing the market?
I've got news for you - it doesn't!!Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
Do you live up North, MiserlyMartin?0

It's anecdotal of course, but I can see it in my firm also.
After several years of tightening the belt, recruitment stop and expense reduction, we are now back to full steam hiring.
It sure looks good

But I've decided you are too stupid to converse with so nothing more from me. Is there an ignore button on here?do you really think that a survey can swing the market?

There was always going to be a hike in the jobless figures as we transition from a public sector led economy to a more sustainable private sector led economy.
The private sector doesn't have too much capacity for the creation of 'non-jobs' that the public sector has demonstrated, though the jobs will add to the UK GDP by creating new wealth (especially in the export driven private sector) rather than moving existing wealth around the economy via different government departments and different government employee's pay packets.0 -
I guess we have a mis-match between the skills which are needed and the skills which are on offer?
Our Company is desperate, desperate, for Engineering Graduates - we are paying them a £2500 Golden Hello!!
The starting salary isn't great at £50k - but there is a final salary Pension - 33 days leave and Flexitime .......
We are practically begging .............Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0 -
