claiming ppi from natwest, no account number

hi im doing a ppi claim from natwest from a loan from oct 2006,i have no paperwork nor do i have the loan account number,I went into natwest today to ask for a breakdown of my old loan account but they said they couldnt find it due to not having the loan account number and they would "call me" if they can find it.
any ideas on how i can go about getting hold of this.struggling pretty bad with all this so as much help as pos would be greatly appreciated,many thanks
