No accident doesn't mean you can drive (and I wasn't aiming anything at you, rather at people who need such a product). But strictly speaking, any bump or scrape is an accident....... So people who hit kerbs, or hit cars in car parks and then drive off, later proclaiming "40 years without an accident", they're not being entirely truthful.

This car park, do you hit your wheels every single time? if not then you inconsistency is to blame, If so then it's badly designed and don't park there.

25 years? I know someone who can beat that....

76 years, no accident, then lands upside down on top of two Porsches, doing 60k+ worth of damage.
Can we go back to answering the question now please?

just had another thought, looking at pics on the web, they are fitted to the very outside lip of the rim, so when you have new tyres fitted, your local rubber monkey will most likely damage the strip by knocking the clips off with his tyre bar.

A lot of those that are fitted are in a contrasting colour, to add a little bling.. so why not save the money and get yourself some of these instead. far more gansta

    Ok, lets see.......

    Bit of plastic?

It's either going to be too flexible/flimsy to do anything OR it's going to be so tough that it'd cut into your tyre's on impact, then probably fly off and kill a pedestrian.

When do you need new tyres? If you need them soon get a set with rim protectors!
I have them on mine, not a scuff by me or the daughter on the alloy but a couple on the tyre!

It's generally only the top few brands that have rim protectors :/

Well given the fact the op has a new Audi. One would think she'd be buying decent boots.
