                    Hiya
I would like to set up a savings account for my daughter who is 10. She just missed out on the trust fund from the goverment, however my youngest daughter didn't so she will have a bit of money when she turns 18 but my eldest daughter won't, so i would like to set her up something.
What's the best one to go for? I would like to pay in £10 pounds each month and want something she cannot have till she is 18.
I have no idea about this sort of thing, i have had a look online but am unsure which is best. Also what's the difference between a junior isa and just a regular savings account?
Thankyou for any help in advance.

I'd open a Halifax kids reg saver for a year first
 http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/accounts/branch-accounts/#kidsregularsaver
and then probably another next year putting the money from this years into another savings account. They have been at 6% for at least 5 years. She doesnt have to know anything about any money you have saved for her. You can then give it her when you feel she will not waste it. With the Trust Fund if a parent saves and saves for 18 years who knows what an 18 year old with do with 1000's and 1000's of pounds. They are still a teenager!!0

If you were saving 20-25 per month, I would suggest equties via an investment trust savings plan.
But with just $10 a month I would look as said at the Halifax children's regular saver. Moving each year's matured fund into a Junior Isa perhaps?0
