Lost Egg CC details

Hi all,
I had an Egg credit card from 2003 until about 2007. I know I had PPI on it for some of the time as I remember querying it and being fobbed off then eventually cancelling it.
Who would I write to for details of the card with a view to putting a claim in. The problem i have is that i don;t have any paperwork with the account number on it. I do have a credit report with details on so I know the exact start and finish dates for the card but that doesn't list account numbers.
I also no longer have the current account that I paid it from so I can't look at old statements for the direct debit. I shredding them all about 12 months ago when i moved house!

I called them and confirmed some security questions over the phone. The chap on the phone was very helpful. He provided my account number and an address to write to.0
