Music onto a htc wildfire s incorrect album order

Hi guysngals
As the title suggest whenever I put any music album onto my smart phone the album is not in the correct order ie track 1 has become track 4 and so on. I know that this is probably me and I am hoping that one of you tech guys could point me in the right direction as to where I am going wrong.I am dragging and dropping from My Music onto the phones removable media icon.
The computer is windows 7 if that is of any use.
