dont eat them all at once ;)

As previous post says ...when you add a load of codes in same week they ask you to keep the wrappers to confirm you have bought the buscuits
i had to send some wrappers in to them when i ordered the cinema tickets

Hope its double points on jaffa cakes next kids love them ..lol

I haven't entered much and they've asked me to post the wrappers. Fair enough I suppose. Make sure you keep them! It does say this in the T&C's so it's nothing new

Yep thanks, I am sure Tesco Price Match works but I am a signatory on an Asda Colleague card so I get 10% off - 90p per pack :j

Just a heads up - I put in about 4 or 5 codes at once yesterday off the packs I'd bought and I started getting a message saying "don't forget to keep your packs as proof of purchase!" or words to that effect. Never seen that before. They even sent me an email saying that. I knew my account had been "flagged" for sure when I tried to claim 2 tins afterwards with my points... they asked me to send at least 2 wrappers from a list of 4 codes to prove I had bought the biscuits!

You can understand that they need fraud checks (to stop people from just writing down the codes in the supermarket) but it's an annoyance! So my tip is: KEEP THE WRAPPERS OF THE CODES YOU ENTER... especially if you are entering a load at once. Ideally it's best to onnly enter one or two packs a day, maybe that will not trigger the annoyance of having to send off packs as proof of purchase.
I second that, I am constantly getting asked to send them in, I even emailed them about it because now I have to send in 30 of them as proof! They said I still had to but I can cut the code out, don't have to send in the whole packet.
Also for those of you saying you've been storing them up, remember you can only enter 10 codes in a 24hr period.

Also remember that the code is on the outside so you don't have to open 10 packets to read the codes for typing. I would never do something so stupid :embarasse

Thanks just joined their VIP, doh! considering i normally buy 2 box's worth of buscuits when on off i really should have joined sooner.
1 box = 18packs for those who dont know, and i normally get them when on offer in lidl's

Well sainsbury's has gone back up to £1.75 causing me utter confusion at the till, not hard, then I realised that it'd included the ben & Jerry's Ice cream which was £1.12 so I basically paid full price for that even though I only bought it because it was reduced

I thought you meant the tins of a second but then i read it and thought 18 x 2= 36 packs:eek: What kind of biscuits and how good is the offer?

By the way, hobnobs are 87p in morrisons at the moment.

well nuffinisfree, the biscuits are digestives and rich tea. normally they are £1.09 a packet, but when i buy them i wait until the sticker price is 63p the label on the shelf, usually starts on a saturday and last 2 weeks, saying that though i did buy 36 packets, but i did have good reason, my mums hairdresser asked me to get her some, but didnt tell me how many packets. so i bought an extra box. good job to as she bought the entire box, use by date was sept 2012, so plenty of time to eat them.
I didnt see the mcvities vip on the side of the packets until i came here. so i signed up, only got about 30packets remaining so i could probably get what i want from their site anyway.

    1 box of 18 = £11.34 instead of £19.62

side note: any one know where they put on the site how many points for certain packets type. like digestives 3points, rich tea 5points or 5pts so i can find out the best time to enter my codes.

    thanks manda1205 forthe link.

    now i must apologise,

I got the price wrong in my above post they where not 63p but 69p per pack £12.42 a box of 18

and they are currently on offer in lidl's i went into today. the offer lasts until next wednesday usually its a week long. park parade branch, should be national aswell.

2nd apology, if you go in tomorrow, there will be a lot less, i'm buying another 2 boxes if they have some left which i believe they will do. didnt buy any today due to the thought i had a box upstairs in my storage area, and i dont.

seems if you want the points its better to buy 2 packs of 250g 3 points x 2 than 1 pack of 500g also 3g, why couldnt they make the 500g 5 points or at least 4points.
