Another good thing to do is annualise each catagory
This shows you totals for a year and gives you a beter perspective.
we found we spent the same on takeaways as we spent on a holiday.
we changed to have an extra holiday and fewer takeaways.0 -
I think set yourself a target for how much you would like to spend over the year for each group and keep a tally for each group, any left over can go into a 'savings for the future' as one day you may want to buy a house, move out of home etc and all of these will need a fair bit of savings so they can happen.:T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one
