I am buying my son a laptop for his 18th
He plays strategy games/battle field skyrim etc•Asus N55SF-S2342V Laptop
•Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Quad Core
•Display: 15.6" (Non glossy, 1600x900)
•Memory: 6GB (DDR3 1333MHZ)
•Storage: 640 GB
•Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M with 2GB Dedicated Memory
•OS: 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premi
The laptop is £778 is it worth it?? seems a lot to me
If anyone has any advice of machines with a similar spec for a cheaper price or with more reviews would appreciate advice
Thanks

Gaming laptops are not cheap. The Dell XPS is around double that.
And we can't give you an opinion on the one you've chosen if you don't tell us what it is0 -
so would you say this is worth the cost?Nice to save.0

Seems to be. Battery life on a gaming laptop is going to be dire though, regardless of who it is from so if it lasts an hour on the battery don't think of that as it being faulty.0

Tell him to 'grow up' and stop playing games ... then you could get him one for 300 quid
