House Auctions

I am looking at house auctions for the first time and need help finding a good site giving all the house auctions in my area, Yorkshire.

Has anyone come across such a site as a quick search in Google brings up all sorts of wierd and wonderful auction search sites but most charge.

I don,t mind paying for the service but would prefer to know which is the best before wasting time and effort on the rest.

Any help would be much appreciated

I use a eigroup (https://www.eigroup.co.uk) who charge. They have all the auctions listed and you tend to get the property lists up about 2 weeks before the auction.

They also have live web feeds of some of the major auctions.
  • Will take a look, can you give me some idea of their charges please.

    Thanks

I can't remember how much it was, but I think it was somewhere around 400 - 500 a year
  • I use Essential Information Group too. Its not too expensive compared with a house purchase - I think 3 user licences were £395 plus VAT. It contains all the auction results for all auctions from the last 15 years - and all the listings for future auctions. Results are posted quickly.

Ask for a free trial - I asked for several before buying!
  • Sounds good and I will certainly try for a trial run, not too sure if this site is aimed at developers rather than one-off purchasers like me so if anyone knows of an alternative please let me know.
  • Anybody else know any auctions sites preferably with less charges.
