hi everyone
im looking for some advice on my house sale. its been on the market for the past 3 weeks and we havent had much interest (ok, no interest
)
some background info - we bought in 2007 for 93k then spent 15k doing it up (it hadnt been touched since the 60's and was a wreck)
it has now been valued at 95k.
im worried because when looking at sold prices people will see we bought it for 93k, and now want 95k (im well aware that prices have plumeted since 2007) - however anyone doing their research this way wont know what we've spent/lost since then.
is the fact our estate agents know this enough?
should i be really worried about the lack of interest so far?
thanks

Is this it? Is it a prefab house?
I personally would arrange the photos so that the front of the house comes up first, not the back with only one window, also if there is room I would borrow another single bed, or a double, to put into the second bedroom so that people can see that it is a double room.
Looks quite nicely presented otherwise though.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I would be more concerned that the last two sales in the street were for less than £80k and you look hugely over-priced.

I don't think it matters much if people know what you paid for it, everyone accepts prices go up and down, and they can see that it's all modernised and they can just walk in without starting to do loads of work.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Is it this one? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-21887757.html
I'm no expert on these things but although the other photos look nice that first one isn't ideal and would put me off looking at the inside ones. Could it be taken at a different angle to look more attractive?
Edit: oops sorry others beat me to it.0 -
