The GAME store i just went to had the usual amount of pre owned stock but not many games on the shelf of new stock(no copies of battlefield at all but im not surprised as EA wont let them have any of they're stock) and the same goes for Gamestation. Id used the majority of what was on the cards but theres still points to be used.

My film arrived yesterday, so you have to make sure there's three clear days between the date you order and the rent payment day which is basically a week today, officially the 24th but I don't know if that will apply if it's a weekend. If I could only find three Blu Rays and the general 360 stuff to choose from though, I appreciate it's hard to know what to spend your points or credit or voucher on when the stock is dwindling.

For vouchers and store credit, agree with you 100%, people should cancel whatever they're doing and get to a branch to get rid of them. I've just been lucky with the timing.

Shares in the company have been suspended now, so this is it. Don't even wait for Saturday, go into a shop and spend the lot.

Does anyone know if the shops will be open tomorrow if shares suspended today - I will be off down the shop tomorrow to get rid of my trade in on my card.

I would expect so, yes.
Once to administrators get to work, they'll perhaps start closing stores, but wouldn't have thought that'll happen until after the 10 days 'grace' period.

I must of been snoozing as I have heard nothing of this until today. I am gutted as I was encouraging my little boy to save for the new PSP thing that came out, people gave him store cards for his birthday and christmas and we were encouraging him to save. He has about £100 in gift vouchers and now i have seen that they have gone into administration.

Im at work tomorrow so cant get to the shop until lunch time and the website is down :mad::(

GAME is putting points on your game card, and credit on their trade-in card, and is offering 75% extra on trade-ins. HOWEVER, you cannot redeem these points against anything at the moment, and this may depend on them getting a buyer. So, all you are doing is PAYING THEIR DEBTS for them, assuming they can sell the second hand games.
