There is a £2500 minimum deposit requirement to open that ISA. If I open that ISA and then transfer my existing ISA of 9k in to thus ISA would that be sufficient to satisfy that £2500 requirement or does it needs to be new money?

I too have been considered this question - think may have to ring them up but I suspect want new money0

according to other people, in the isa forum at the top of the page, transferring the money is fine..0

When I went through the ISA opening process online the form asked if I was making the £2,500 deposit by: a) a transfer of existing ISA money from an external source; b) a transfer from another Santander account; c) deposit of new money.
I selected a) as I had already filled my 2011/12 allowance somewhere else and my application went through OK.Old dog but always delighted to learn new tricks!0 -
No new money rubbish this year. All ISAs allow transfers and will meet the criteria for your £2500...0
