Being made offers outside ebay - relist together?

Hi,

I put a big lot of tiles up on ebay yesterday and I've been inundated with people offering me to buy it now. I think I've done it wrong! Because there are so many, I thought I would make more if I split it into two so I've listed them seperately in different categories. One is attracting significantly more interest than the other!

The thing now is that people are making me offers to buy the whole lot and don't want to bid seperately in case they lose either. So now I think I should have listed them together but as two lots, iyswim.

I'm worried if I relist that I'll lose the money I've spent already (about £10 as I'd set reserves) and the multitude of people already watching them. I don't really think I should accept any offers, as apart from it being naughty, I think I have enough interest to carry it up to what I'm being offered at least.

What do you think I should do!?

  • I've had a similar "problem" with two items I am selling. They can either be used separately or as a pair so I did two listings and I've also had people wanting me to take them off and sell as a pair.

Provided you've left enough time between the auctions the prospective buyers should have enough time to bid for the second lot.

I did it that way because I thought I may get a better price.

if there are no bids you could always revise one of the items to include the other, and add a BIN?
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

Both have bids. One is at 99p, one is at £100, LOL! I think it's because I had a reserve price that the first bid has gone that high.

There is about 5 minutes between lots.

I think I might just leave it and see what happens. I've got 11 watchers on one and 8 on the other which I think is quite good after only a day?
