  • I have been using them for about 3 years & how please I was when one opened up in Cambridge. You're right about the price though they are a bit steep. I tend to look through their catolgue & find the cheapest ones.

I will have to try some of the other websites mentioned.
:A this web site is heavenly :A
  • I have been using bravissimo for a few years now i hate paying the prices i bought 2 bras last time and it was £75, oh how i wish i could just go into any shop and get myself some new underwear and not have to take out a new mortgage i am a size 38 JJ and being pregnant at the moment they are getting bigger by the day ,my other half is in heaven but then he doesnt have to carry them around all day...I think the high street is well over due some new ideas on the market at a resonable price

Hi, can i just say that its not just larger breasted ladies that need a decent bra and good support.... I dont have massive boobs, but i certainly CANT and wouldnt go braless! I got myself fitted for a new bra not long ago, and was also wearing wrong size, only a cup size wrong but the difference it made when i put one of my new bras on when i got home! i had talked myself into thinking i was smaller then i was, i kept looking at them thinking they were tiny (obviously not as small as i first thought, made my day lol).

    keelykat.

ps so any good shops for smaller cup sizes? hehe...
pps- still feel inadequet tho. ops cant spell.

  • Remember also to try John Lewis, they supply the larger sizes. Best time to visit is prior to the clearance in July or December, memorise the styles you like and go back when the sale starts as they can locate the sizes from other stores if they have sold out (at the clearance prices)

Does anyone else find that bras seem to be different sizes in different shops? I was measured in La Senza and the bras there were great, fitted perfectly etc. but it's so expensive for a poor student like me! So I visited brastop and ordered some from there and they didn't fit properly (too small) and ever since, anywhere I try, other than La senza, I just cannot find a comfortable bra. :(

Those of you buying from brastop or other cheap, big busted bra shops, where were you measured? If it makes a difference, I was 34DD last time I was measured but seem to have grown since then so I need a reliable measurer again!

Dont ever ever ever believe you are one size, not ever! you are generally about one size but never one size completly. My bra drawer consists of 32-34 A-D.

You always need to try on a bra and i would always advise you get someone to check the fit of it. Dont be fooled by the same colour within the same brand of bra, it has been known that that can make a difference.

Oh and if you get measured, please shave under your arms and think of people like me who have to literally feel around that area! I think 9/10 people i fit a bra into have major stubble or full on under arm hair, or nipple hair for that matter!
  • I got measured at Debenhams (with shaved pits!) And they told me I'm a 36DD. I said I'm definately a 34 as I've tried 36 & they fall off!
No way, your definately a 36.
    I'll never fit a DD, I'm an F!!
Any way bought 4 34F's in the sale which fitted perfectly, she stroppily said I can't take them back if they don't fit!
Doesn't bother me they fit PERFECTLY!

I also discovered Bravissimo a rew years ago. I'd lost weight and could never find a bra that felt right, then Bravissimo said I was a 28E not the 36c I'd been wearing! but its always important to get measured as many things can change your size as well as different makes and sytles may not be your regular size. Always try to go be measured after your period not in the run up to it, hormones will affect them!
  • Seeing though this is a money saving site can I offer the best tip?! - Don't wear a bra!
