I see that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium series Book 1) by Stieg Larsson is just £0.99 on Kindle at present, but the rest of the series is more expensive.

Me too, messalina! I was so excited when I saw the price! I didn't fancy paying £6 for a Kindle book. I'm reading it now!

I see KIndle have started a Spring Sale in addition to their other offers. You can find it by navigating to Kindle Books. From the Amazon home page, click through Shop by department, and Kindle E-readers and books, then Kindle books in the middle under the Kindle store heading. There's a link to Spring Sale there.

Quite a lot of books at £1.00 and 0.99p, some more expensive. Some of the books look quite promising, depending of course on your taste. MIne is literary (like Booker prize) and good Science Fiction (Iain M Banks RIP). I'll be getting two or three once I have thought it through.
