Can anyone offer advice to a discharged Bankrupt.
Bankrupty late 2009 and discharged six months later in 2010.
If we had the 5% deposit and the mortgage would be smaller than our rent would anyone look at us to buy under this new Government scheme?
Any opinions would be greatly received.
Thank you

A small number of lenders tend to get involved with these Gov't schemes, and they will be mainstream lenders wanting good credit history.
My guess is you'll unfortunately need a lot more deposit, at least 15%. Have you considered doing mortgage in parents name?0
