PPI - Lloyds TSB

My husband wants to know how easy is it to reclaim back PPI yourself without using a company to do it!!

For over 10 years, he has had numerous loans with Lloyds TSB, and even his current credit card has PPI on it!!

He wants to know if there are any template letters on here to use so he can put the claims in himself without having to use a company because of course you can loose anything up to 25% fee!!

Many thanks!!

    Hi there

Simple to be honest but I would say that because its something I have been doing myself for a few years, but even so when I first started reclaiming it was not that bad, but just make sure you miss nothing out.

It's just a matter of completing a reclaim questionnaire, send to the ones responsible, in your case (hubby's) Lloyds TSB, there is a direct link to them below of where to send.

If the mis selling reasons are the same you can complain on one questionnaire, but make sure you enclose each account number for each loan.
Or complete separate if you prefer.
However, defo deal with loan ppi separate to that of credit card ppi.

Remember as well, if successful you keep the whole lost of the refund if having a go yourself, and as long as you have the account numbers, and have reasons for mis sold, I would not worry about the paperwork.
Using claims companies maybe time consuming, to what I know of it involves a number of paperwork.

Remember to keep copies of your reclaim questionnaire's too.

    Good luck.

Not uncommon and nothing wrong with that.

The issue over PPI is not about having the product. It is about how it was sold and set up. That is where the complaint will be.
