Has anyone been contacted or know of the claims company ETA Claims. They have contacted me now 5 times (via my mobile) asking me if i wish to claim PPI. I have told them 4 times that i dont not wish to use their company and for them to remove me from their database and then they ring me again this morning - i told them i will report them if they dont stop harrassing me - but i am not sure who i should report them too! Can anyone help me.
Thanks

Yup, now it's my turn to be plagued by this company. I have registered my mobile and land line with TPS but they seem unable to prevent this type of persistent call.
I have added ETA's number to my reject list so that I don't hear the phone now when they call. I suppose they will eventually give up and move onto someone else.
Does anybody have ideas about blocking this company?0 -
Bump, they have my number now.
Rather amusingly...

I've been contacted twice by them today. They appear to have the intelligence of a small amoeba and slightly less integrity (I do apologise to amoeba for the comparison, but I could not think of a lower form of life)
What I want to know is where they have got my contact details from. I'm registered with TPS and so I beleive someone has passed on my details0 -

hi all
I too have my mobile number registered with the TPS but these people contacted me for the first time a couple of days ago and have called me three times since! Today they also started calling my son on his mobile (also registered with the TPS). They always ask for someone whose name we've never heard and, when we tell them they've got the wrong number they go away, presumably to call back later. From what I've seen on other forums we're getting off lightly as they can be very rude when you engage with them and then tell them you're not interested. We've both blocked their number so at least we ought not to be bothered by the phone ringing but other than that we appear powerless to do anything which is really annoying0 -
My mum and dad were contacted by these people today and are calling her back in 24 hours. They gave her a contact number which is 0161 2411718 who answered my call as claims advisory group when i asked them if they dealt with eta claims, after a short pause i was told that yes they did deal with them. The other number they gave was 0161 4783073 which i called and just got a recorded message. When i entered eta claims on google it referred to a insurance/breakdown company who are warning people of this company.0
