The rules are that no money ever changes hands and no swaps.
There are groups now in most towns
The aim is to stop landfill
A lady in the USA gave away a barn
I get loads of books for free and toys for the kids
My friend got a PC as some one in CHi had recently upgraded
You can offer your unwanted items and request wanted items eg WANTED: CLEAN SOFA BOGNOR
It is fantastic no strings, no gimmicks, no advertisng, I LOVE IT!
If you are struggling finacially its a way to get things you need and a brikliant way to dispose of your clutter:T

As a moderator on several freecycle groups , this is the most common complaint and reason for people leaving. Please sign in on yahoo groups go to your freecycle group and click on edit my settings , change the drop down menu from individual emails to daily digest .
You will then only get one email a day. :rotfl: :T :TStarted my own business and loving being my own boss

I got 8 books last weekI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
