Thanks to some very lovely people on here and HUKD we are going to Thorpe Park 21st april
Ive never been before but it looks like a very adult themed place, is there many rides for children?
I have an almost 8 year old, a 4 year old, and an almost 3 year old. I know theres not going to be that much for the little ones but are there any kiddies rides/attractions at all?
Any other tips and advice appreciated, oh does anyone know what colour the £6 refill cups are this year? we have a black one from chessington from last year

There is nothing there at all for small children . Stick to Legoland or Chessington.0

Unfortunately we already have the tickets and are non-transferrable. They list 14 rides/attractions for kiddies altogether (including beach and venue for shows), itl have to do i guess. We went to chessington last year and as fabulous as it was in all honesty they could have gone on any of the rides that were there at the local fair. So im really not talking about spectacular rides just obviously an area to amuse them.
Any other helpful advice ?0 -

The enjoyment of your children at Thorpe Park will depend upon how tall and how brave they are (& possibly how warm it is).
Although It is primarly aimed at adults and older children some of the smaller attractions are great, Flying Fish has to be the best mini rollercoaster in the UK and if iyt is sunny the, beech area is great.0 -
Go to guest services when you arrive and get your 8 year old measured, they will give you a colour coded band which means he/she won't have to be measured every time they go on a ride. Also ask for a parent pass, this will enable you to go on the rides and then swap over without having to queue again. The is a few rides for younger children near the saw ride which means while one of you goes on the ride you can keep the kids entertained on other rides and then you can swap over. There are picnic benches and lockers so you can take your own packed lunch without having to carry it around.

Thanks mew and kc26
My brother in law may be coming if he decides to get a ticket, so we probably wont use the parent pass, though they are a good idea. How much are the fast track tickets? That was one thing we wish we'd done at chessington. Trying to persuade OH to stay at chessington hotel tooat £95 for the night with brekkie tho its not looking good lol!
