New Enterprise Allowance question

I have been receiving the New Enterprise Allowance for about 6 weeks now and was just wondering if anyone knows when the jobcentre advisor calls you in to check up/review things. My advisor did tell me the three times I would be called in and I cant remember! Think the second was at 13 weeks and third possibly 26 weeks but its the first one I cant remember!

Is there many on here that receive this allowance?

I'd give them a call - if you don't take evidence of trading in within the first few weeks they could stop your allowance and take you off the scheme altogether. Not sure of the exact timescales but I would definitely get in touch to ask.

thanks for that, since I posted this post they have rung me up and arranged an appointment for my 6 week checkup and asked to bring evidence of trading etc

Hi there

I too have just moved off JSA to the NEA allowance. Would you be able to tell me what kind of evidence of trading you were asked to submit - I can't seem to find information on that anywhere?

its crazy that its so difficult to get info about it, DH has had no paperwork or anything, he's trying to get the t&cs and there is nothing anywhere online, he's asked the job centre and they seen clueless about it.

Ziggy is DH already on the new enterprise scheme or are they looking to get on it?

Yes he's started it, he's got the money going in and has started the business course. He's just been on to job centre again and they said they'd send the stuff out so we will wait and see, it really does seem to be very disorganised.
