:eek:I had payment break on my cc which i put claim in for. However Monument have sent me a letter back stating they only review the last 6 years. I stopped paying this in 2006. I was not aware i had this on , i did not need it as my employer paid 6months sick 6 months 1/2 ,& redundancy package ,also life insurance. Can anyone give advice as to whether i should pursue this or am i wasting my time. I had paid this for 6yrs previous to this to 2006.

Hi
You could give it another shot, and maybe accept an offer if they no longer hold details all the way, unless you can provide any paperwork to them.
Ask them to reconsider.
Did they mention anything about the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) on the letter? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Di, Think i might be flogging a dead horse, yeah they said this is final response but could take it to the FOS if need be.Thanx for quick response.:D0 -
If you have your statements you can send these to Barclaycard and they will refund the PPI shown.
If they say they haven't got any information past 6 years you could send them a DSAR (with the £10 fee) asking for all info they hold about you.
This might get you something or be a waste of £10. It's for you to decide.0
