HELP - Unauthorised Bank Transactions After BR

Hi,

Hope someone out there can help!

I was declared BR in mid December after my company (Ltd Co) went into receivership at the end of November. One of the creditors of the company took over £1000 from my personal bank account in early December (I had used this account 6 months previously as a one off). Prior to the BR I thought I had sorted this with the bank who had blocked the transactions and said that after 7 days the payments would "fall out of the system". They did not re-appear and so they were not included in the Statement of Affairs.

These transactions have now appeared on the account in February and the OR is stating that this is now not provabe and not inluded in the BR.

The bank is standing by its decision to pay the transactions (3 in total) even though this was after they were told of my BR by the OR and the request to close the account and despite my confirming that I couldn't make a payment as the Company was already in liquidation at this point and could be construed as giving a creditor preferential treatment.

The Liquidators don't want to know either.

Obviously I can't afford to pay this back and the creditor has effectively stolen this money.
