 Can I ask you for more advice, please?
 I just checked my account, and Budget have only paid me the £15:00 'admin fee' I charged them. They havn't refunded the money they took for the first installment, or the postage costs they promised to pay for recorded delivery.
 I phoned them, and they say they have no record of taking the payment! I have faxed them a printout of my statement, showing the direct debit. They say they will get back to me within 48 hours.
 If they dispute this where do I stand - you mentioned I could get my money back as it's a direct debit?
 I would be grateful for any further advice please!!!0

 Under the direct debit indemnity sheme, you can request a full and immediate refund of any direct debit that has been taken in error. You need to contact your bank for this. They will return the monry inot your bank account and then recalim the monet from the company who claimed it. it would then be up to the company to then contact you if they believe youe are actually liabloe for the money.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011.
