London Docklands - Snack

Hi, wondering if anyone knows the area around the Travelodge at Coriander Avenue, off East India Dock Road well?
Need to get a cheap take-out light lunch (sandwich, drink, crisps or similar) for approx 30 ppl. Needs to be as near to the Travelodge doorstep as possible as no transport.

there is a Tesco Express down Cotton street which is just the other side of the Blackwall Tunnel , about 5 - 10 minutes walk Max

Thanks Browntoa, I did see that but didn't fancy carrying 30cans of juice plus the sarnies and crisps back..lol. I need to have the food there when the party arrives. Was hoping maybe someone knew of a bakers or similar nearer that I could call and order in advance.

Can't find a phone number for that TL to ask them.....just got the corporate numbers

theres not much like that down that end , there are a loads of takeaways just before Cotton Street on the A13 but nothing on your side

Go past there every night during the week

Thanks dacouch, it's for an overseas school party and the Tesco Meal Deal at £2.50-£2.80 would be an ideal price point for them. I think both of the above would be over their budget.

I wonder if Tesco would deliver sandwiches etc....

Anyone any idea what the approx cost of a taxi from Tesco to Travelodge would be?

its probably under £5 , its really not that far between the 2 by car/taxi

Thanks guys, a fiver would be ok...just concerned that I would be taken the scenic route and end up paying a fortune

I see pret do free delivery over £30 so will have a look at their menu prices later.
