French Fransat/TNTsat

Hello,
I've been trying to determine the best way of setting up TNTSat on a SKY dish.
I was going to see if buying the box and TNTSat card was cheaper (and compatible in the UK) if bought in France and brought over, but it seems to be a hassle to find them in the stores.
Otherwise, there are a few online companies that provide them.
Can anyone recommend a cheap and reputable one (unless buying the setup in France and bringing it over is feasible)?
Thanks

Don't know what price you've seen for online but I recall seeing a SD TNTSat receiver in France for €99 in the Electromenager at Leclerc and Hyper U. Also the B&Q type stores (Mr Bricolage et al) usually have them. The TNTSat at Astra 19°East could possibly work with SKY dish with a 9° LNB separation arm but the card only lasts for 4 years and you will probably only get a cheap replacement card if you have a French address.
Another option is the Fransat system (again the price in France is comparable with the TNTSat systemn with one that I saw at €129). I believe the card lasts forever but you will need a 2nd satellite dish pointed at 5°West.0 -
Thanks for that.
To buy the box and card in the UK from a UK seller it costs £170 plus, but yes, to buy the same from france it's around 100 Euros.
My main question then, is would a French box bought in France work with an English TV? French TVs don't work in England due to different signal (though in this case it's coming from an english Satellite receiver so it should, though I'd like to make sure).
Also, do you mean fransat can't be used on a sky dish? I thought it's just a different satellite? Fransat seems to give more euro-wide channels.0
