I normally use a hair removal cream but seem to have to do it weekly despite being quite fair.
I prefer the result that you get from waxing but I cant face growing it for 3 weeks in order to get it waxed - plus its expensive.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

I bleach in between waxing so can't really see it. Usually wax it every 2 weeks or so.0

Epilation:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Threading- it is done literally in a minute and the results are great. I found it takes longer to grow back. I first tried it in India and the ladies there are amazing: superquick and extremely thorough. I have to find someone in my area that I can trust, but so far for me it has been the cheapest and best method0

Agree - threading gets the best, longest lasting results, very cheap & quick! You can get it done at Brow Spa franchises that seem to pop up in most large shopping centres these days, as every salon I've ever asked doesn't do it.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

I've recently discovered the epistick. It's a spring device for hair removal. I think it works really well and find it's a lot less painful than waxing. It's also very cheap

I bought one of these a few years ago but never really got the hang of it. Any tips for technique? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying. I just bend the spring into an inverted U shape and put it against my upper lip, then twist both handles away from me and the spring picks up the hairs. I find it's easier if I push my tongue in under my upper lip as this stretches the skin a bit.

How does it take longer for the hair to grow back after threading, rather than waxing?0
-
I wax. I was concerned that use of bleach for a long period might affect the skin colour and start to look a bit obvious. I have tried threading. Maybe I had a bad experience but it was extra ordinarily painful (and I am a seasoned waxer without complaint) and was red, sore and conspicous for about a week afterwards. Never again!0

I'm 1/6 of the way through a course of Intense Pulsed Light therapy on my upper lip. It's fairly expensive but it's quick and permanent.I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0
