How has it taken so long to stop this happening surely Lloyds bank in Essex must have had complaints... Police are reluctant to do anything, Learn from my stupid mistake.

Some interesting details here on pistonheads forum about Willion Electronics, willion.net, see verulam's posts......

Looks like Willion Electronics, willion.net changed their contact details, telephone & address to avoid suspicion.

jpires, how did you do your bank transfer, did you do it online or in person in bank?

If online wonder if you could state it was an fraudulent transaction to relevant fraud dept. of bank, meaning if you had more protection because the transfer was done online rather than in person at the bank.

What was the account name that you made bank transfer too?
  • I paid these people too. So its definately a scam? What did LloydsTSB say?
  • If online wonder if you could state it was an unauthorised transaction to relevant fraud dept. of bank?
So in an attempt to get their money back, you are suggesting that jpires commits fraud themselves, thereby risking being prosecuted and ending up with a criminal conviction if their bank discovers what they are attempting to do.

Not exactly good advice is it?

    Apologies shaun, quite right.

I didn't really mean it that way and have changed that particular word, all that I meant was if there was more protection if you did a transfer online rather than in person in the bank.
