I've never seen another poster who was willing to put their IQ rating in their user name.
Actually I have a high IQ!!!
Hard to believe.
But unfortunately for you, it's true.0 -
He "dragged" you across the street or asked for a quiet word whereby you both walked across the street?
If the latter, I see nothing wrong with this - the other would have seen you getting a bit boisterous, just wanted to calm you down a little bit and get on with your night... no?
It's hard to understand exactly what happened and why here from the little bit of information offered.
If the officer genuinely was out of order, you could I suppose record it on your phone - I can't think of any law preventing you from doing this --- however, if you did do this it is likely you would be arrested for a public disorder offense - as lets face it, anything could be covered by this act! So it's a bit of a double edged sword.0 -
When that copper went out at the start of the evening he was just an ordinary guy going to work. He wouldn't have wanted trouble, his life will be much easier if everyone enjoys themselves and goes home peacefully and safely.
You've said yourself, you were 'wasted' can you really remember everything you said and did. How many times do you hear of people having to go around apologizing after a night on the ale.
Next time have more water with it.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Thankyou for admitting your offences.
Your first offence is covered under the Licensing Act of 1872.
Being drunk in public is actually a criminal offence.
Your second offence is Drunk & Disorderly.
Personally I don't see this as a reason to single op out - it is likely 99% of the people out was drunk in public. In fact this is why the majority of people go out - to get drunk.
Your second offence is Drunk & Disorderly.
For me this is where it gets hazy, op says he was dragged to one side then says he was co-operative. Doesn't really allow anybody to paint a picture of what actually happened, in what way and for what reason.
It could be something or nothing, who knows0 -
