Arguably, this could be considered a contest, but going by the dictionary definition it is a competition. :cool: First submission so be nice. Right, onto the competition...

Jet Set Radio is a game from a decade ago that was on the Sega Dreamcast. This year it's going to be released in high definition on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. You have the opportunity to have your artwork featured in a game that will be played by hundreds of thousands of gamers.

Requirements: Professional image editing software and some skills creating graffiti-style art, or at least studying the art of Jet Set Radio (you can watch videos on YouTube) and adapting to the style

What to do: Produce artwork for the game in any of the three specified sizes and in the formats listed. Pay close attention to the guidelines. There is no limit to the amount of entries, and yes, they can all be entries from the same person. However, it suffices to say that since this will be art in a video game, the term "quality over quantity" is certainly the case here! You'll have some fierce competition, but it's worth a punt for the reward! You'll be sending your submissions via e-mail.

Prizes: Aside from having your artwork featured in the game (which I think is the best part about it), there's a selection of prizes for the selected winners. Going through the UK rules, it's possible UK entrants will not receive the Et!n Rukus Solar sound system. There will be nine successful entrants from the UK and they will each receive...

• Two codes to download Jet Set Radio for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
• Beverage shaker that resembles a spray paint can, hmmm
• A rare Jet Set Radio hoodie

feature any Sega characters
be previously published or appear anywhere else
contain any 3rd party copyright protected material or trademarked characters, images, symbols or logos
infringe upon the intellectual property rights of a 3rd party
contain any resemblance to a recognizable person, character or personality
use any obscene or indecent images or words including but not limited to nudity, pornography, profanity, drug references or gratuitous violence
contain any religious imagery
reflect any political images or stances
include any defamatory statements (including, but not limited to, words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group)
include threats to any person, place, business, group or nation
invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity
violate any law or regulation
