Each photo should be identified (bedroom 2 etc) not just given a number. Cannot believe brevity of ea's description. More worried about what has not been photoed eg garden. Size and bearing of garden should be given. Kerb appeal is terrible...do you have off road parking? maybe its just the photo but is there a problem with dpc to the right of the front door? Floor plan essential
I would be looking to change my ea.0 -
Agree with other posters.....front elevation is unbelievably bland with zero kerb appeal - needs making more interesting/colourful. Floorplan definitely essential......cannot understand conservatory/family room configuration. Details are way too brief. Pics of rear garden etc required and rough size of garden would also be helpful. Kitchen carpet tiles (?) look in need of replacing......and yes, Pimento is right - your pictures are hung too high!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

Does it have off road parking? We used to own two spaces outside our house which was rare in MK. You need more photos. As a house hunter, I didnt even bother with houses that had few photos. The photos you have posted are just not appealing - I dont know why, perhaps because the day was dull and overcast. Put some flowers in the front garden and get rid of the second settee in the living room - it's blocking the door.
Floor plan? I cant visualise the layout. If I cant do that, how can I visualise myself living there?
Price. I'm sorry, £182K for Emerson Valley is too high. I sold in TMA for £185 at the hight of the market three years ago and I see that the theiving so-and-so has just put my house up for £160 and he still has no takers. Unless your house is exceptional or considerably bigger than other 3 beds in the area, £160 - £170 is about your ceiling in this market. There's no direct route to the nearest primary except via Tattenhoe street which is a fast road. This might be a problem to families. I know you cant 'move' the house and there's little you can do about it, but perhaps if you investigated the status of the nearest schools and found out if they were oversubscribed for instance...could be a potential selling point if they are not. On the other had, you're really close to Denbigh which is the defacto secondary in the area.
I would re-take the photos on a nice day with a higher resolution. I would take many more pictures and I would generally spruce up the place so it looks 'homely'. Bunches of flowers in a vase are nice for isntance...dont go overboard, but a splash of colour will offset the 'generic box' feeling of the house.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

Thanks for all the feedback.
We are due to drop the asking price and have put plenty of colour and dressed the front of the house.
I have suggested to my partner about EA changing, we will give our agent another 5 weeks at the new lower price and then make a new decision...
Thanks again those who have taken the time to reply, we have taken on a lot of the advice!!!0 -
