Trips to Cairo from Ayia Napa

I have booked a family holiday to Protaras in Cyprus for August, I believe that there are trips that go from Ayia Napa to Cario and would love to find more information about this, although it might be just be far too expensive.

Has anyone been on the trip? Do you book once you are out there? How long do you spend in Cario? How much is this trip?

Did this a few years ago - overnight on a boat and then by coach to the Cairo Museum & Pyramids. My only gripe was that we did'nt have long enough at the Pyramids - about an hour, especially as we then had to spend an hour looking around the tour guide's cousins souvenir shop on the way back to the boat! Can't remember the cost, but I think you might find it a bit pricey for a family.

Brilliant info, thanks. Yes there are 7 of us so it could work out a small fortune but might be worth it for the experiance, kids would love it! x

There are some prices quoted for this in the Going Places Cyprus brochure. There's a 2 day cruise, or a day trip by air. Both were pricey!!
