EDF D/D has been taken twice?
Hi all,
Had a payment for £57 come up on my bank statement a few days after switching to a new tariff/product. Basically, they've taken £75 D/D on the 28th February and then £57 D/D (according to the bank statement) on the 12th March.
Firstly, I don't understand why £57 would come out as a D/D as my D/D payments were £75 and are now £61.
Secondly, I rang EDF today who told me the payment on the 28th Feb. had been returned unpaid and that's why they took the payment on the 12th Mar. However, my bank statements aren't showing that the first D/D has been returned at all.
Currently we are £75 in credit, enough to pay next month's bill. Is it worth chasing or should I just be glad that now I don't have to worry about next month's electricity bill?

If they have incorrectly taken it like this, you could get it back via your bank.
Its a matter of whether you need it and whether you would prefer your supplier to be earning interest on it rather than you.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
