Sounds like when I went between a 1992 Peugeot 106 and my 2011 Kia Picanto :rotfl:

I popped the bonnet and checked the fluid reservoir, went back to where I had parked and checked for puddles and then just realised how different modern brakes are.

Becoming very common these days, most people would drive that and be amazed at the "really good brakes".

It's one of those things that really gets on my nerves, instead of progressive brakes with good feel, they're making brakes that fool people into thinking they're better than they are.

Totally agree Strider, brakes which are like a light switch - on/off, nothing in between.
I have also noticed that clutch actions on some cars are a bit like this - Mazda 3 and Audi A2 spring to mind.
