Badly laid laminate flooring!!

Hi all, I have just moved into my new flat and the previous owners had laminate flooring laid, but not very well!
At the top of the stairs it has sprung and there are bits round radiators which haven't been fitted well so there are bare bits.
It has been laid throughout the whole flat, I am going to carpet the bedrooms so that's not a problem, but would like to keep the rest of the laminate.
Can you tell me if it is possible to get the bodged bits fixed or will it all need to come up and be relaid?
Thanks!!

You can get bits specifically made for going round the bottom of pipes to cover the gaps. I think B&Q do them.'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'

It's quite hard to repair wooden or laminate floors unless they are original sanded boards IMO. If the laminate is raised then It's probably either cheap stuff or has just been laid badly. Being engineered it doesn't expand much, but some people seem to think you don't need to give it any space.
It depends how much it bothers you I suppose. I laid a strand woven bamboo floor when I moved in. It's through the whole place with no joins. I took great care, but I have had some considerable shrinkage in the hallway. I am just going to live with it.0
