Barclaycard are so unprofessional. Sent card out then declined application.

They basically sent me a card yesterday. Today I receive a letter stating my application has been cancelled. How bizarre. I applied 6 months ago for the same Barclaycard initial card. Then I got a decline letter. I wish they would do ALL their checks before sending out cards and getting their customers hopes up. Any other…

How would it work if they have made the balance transfer that was requested at time of application then later closed it? Would they expect it cleared in full ASAP?
