well got bulled at work by the boss. been told a was lazy by the boss.
i nearly set the place a light as the fork lift was flat and the battery wires was around the wrong way. and i caught this light switch and a bloody great big spark shot out of it and tripped the fuse in the office.
and i work in the cold store at -18 on my own with out of date clothing what are not up to British standards. and they give me thin gloves like gardening gloves ...iam in there 2 hours 30mins at a time with no break.................... i work 9 hours in there and get 1 hour break all day

so i got my own back and reported them to hse and they came around and gave him alist as long as your arm to do
then i got called in the of and asked do i want to be hear i said NO!! right he said i will right you a letter saying there is down turn in trade so you can still claim jsa.
then on my last day he got me to sign this letter that i cant remember what it said expert it said i certify. ........... then i asked were my copy they said you dont need one its for are insurance just in case ............................. does any one no were i stand thanks

So, from what I understand, there were health and safely issues which you reported, and then you and the boss mutually agreed that you would leave? (Apart from anything else, there was less work to do someone needed to go).

So, if you will get JSA, you can chalk it up to experience and move on? Or are you looking for redundancy pay etc?

you're getting the legally required amount of breaks.

What is your point, and what do you want as an outcome?

You said you didn't want to be there, and now you're not there. What else is there?

Can we get this absolutely clear? As far as I understand you have both agreed that you no longer work there.

You do not go to work at all?

You cannot go back to that job?

How did the boss find out it was you? All reports are anonymous so who told him?

Maybe the OP? He was stupid enough to say he didn't want to work there, and stupid enough to sign a document he didn't read... and HSE inspectors don't "report back" so I guess he is making up the list as long as his arm too. OP got a one hour break (more than the law requires) and also was out of there every 2.5 hours - my maths make that a break more often than once in nine hours, And !!!!!! - this is a job in a COLD store. And he's complaining its COLD???
