sorry to hijack the thread, but god forbid you do take a loan with welcome finance, can you overpay, or settle the whole balance, without paying the whole amount back including ineterest.

back when i was younger and fresh to world of credit I took a loan with welcome finance I found them really pushy with ppi but otherwise helpful i remember once i couldn't pay 1 month as my car broke and cost a fortune to fix and they were helpful, However having grown up and got a job with northern rock i realised i was been robbed with the interest rate and saved up in an isa and payed it all off (finally) but i was never contacted by them for anything and received no charges.
