Short Term Investment

Is it possible to invest £100,000 for say 1 to 2 months and earn interest or would the interest be so minimal that it wouldn't be worth worrying about?

    Gross interest at say 3% is £3000 per annum or £250 a month.

    You could split between say Coventry and Santander?
