Northern Rock PPI Mis-sell

Hi, I put in a private claim for mis-selling of PPI to Northern Rock in November 2011. I heard from them in January with a letter up-holding our claim and offering us £2.5K. We signed and sent the letter back Recorded Delivery. We have not heard anything since. We chased it up and they said you have to leave it 28 days, which we did then we called again, and they said we would have the money in 10 working days. That expired yesterday. Has anyone else had problems with them paying out?

Yes lots have had the same problem, mainly due to backlogs of payouts, but maybe you could contact your local MP to chase them up on your behalf if you not received anything by next week, sometimes that helps.

Hi, I too have put a claim in. Am sure I have waited nearly 8 weeks. Getting fed up now. Not heard anything back yet (except for the dummies sending me a duplicate claims form). Wonder whether I should send that too n hope they don't notice. Lol. I know they have alot of claims to deal with, but they are all quick enough to con us in the first place!.
