New Conservatory

Hi.

We're looking to have a conservatory built in time for the summer.

Two questions:

1. Where's the best (i.e. cheapest) place to buy one?
2. Can anyone recommend a good builder in the Pontypridd area?

My friends in Pontyclun all swear by their conservatories done through Weekes . Not cheap but excellent quality, service and efficiency.

Leekes is excellent - no doubt. The one thing that puts me off is that they have (rightly or wrongly) a reputation for being expensive.

We've had a variety of quotes which range from the acceptable to the absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not a builder and have very little experience of working with builders. I suppose that's why I'm after personal recommendations.

We don't have a huge budget so installation quotes in particular are going to be very important.

Sorry TW but you get what you pay for, don't go for the cheapest.

PM me if you want the number of a good PVC guy, although I'm not sure if he does the building work.

I actually agree with you there.

The trouble is, I'm the same as the next guy - I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest just the best value solution!

if you are not a great diy expert you could always project manage the job and employ local builders and fitters
